Cooking and art

I was recently asked by a friend how the cooking was going and to be fair it had completely slipped my mind. I have now picked my book and am looking forward to starting to work through the recipes. I'm going to aim for at least one a week, possibly two depending on how I do. Sadly, though Tabitha sleeps in the evenings making cooking possible, she does not sleep well overnight, making the desire to stand at the cooker dwindle.

I have been more involved and inspired by art again though. Mum bought me a course from the wonderful Ady http://dolldreams.ning.com/ I'm taking part in her cardboard project using recycled materials and mixed media to create paintings and an art folder. It's going slowly but i'm thoroughly enjoying it. I've also been enjoying creating mandalas and using this process to free my creativity.

I'm looking forward to doing more of this, but it does rather depend on having either madam sleeping or someone to entertain her while I paint.
